A s\u00f3lo 25 minutos del continente de Canc\u00fan, Isla Mujeres es una peque\u00f1a isla de siete kil\u00f3metros (4,3 millas) de largo. de y unos 500 metros de ancho (0,31 millas) y fue descubierta por los espa\u00f1oles en el a\u00f1o 1517.<\/p>

A s\u00f3lo 600 metros de la Avenida Hidalgo, la calle peatonal central y coraz\u00f3n de Isla Mujeres donde encontrar\u00e1s variedad de restaurantes de cocina internacional, bares, tiendas y donde sucede la vida nocturna. Antes de la llegada de los espa\u00f1oles, la isla estaba consagrada a Ixchel, la diosa maya de la luna, el amor y la fertilidad, que recib\u00eda ofrendas con formas femeninas que los creyentes depositaban en sus playas para su culto. Cuando llegaron los conquistadores espa\u00f1oles y observaron todas estas ofrendas, bautizaron la isla como Isla Mujeres. En Punta Sur se pueden ver los restos del templo maya de Ixchel.

Una forma divertida de conocer la isla es recorrerla en un carrito de golf o en una scooter que gustosamente le ayudaremos a alquilar. El paseo te llevar\u00e1 por las coloridas casas y calles de la isla por un lado y por el otro podr\u00e1s apreciar los acantilados junto al mar. En el otro extremo de la isla, la punta sur conocida como Punta Sur, es el primer lugar de M\u00e9xico que tocan los rayos del sol cada ma\u00f1ana. Isla Mujeres Just 25 minutes from the mainland of Cancun, Isla Mujeres is a small island of seven kilometers (4.3 miles) long. of and about 500 meters wide (0.31 miles) and was discovered by the Spanish in the year 1517.
